Biography

When Sterling Lenoir Westmoreland was born on April 15, 1792, in Greenville, South Carolina, his father, John, was 23 and his mother, Rachel, was 19. He married and had children with Sarah D Jones. He died on July 29, 1872, in Anderson, South Carolina, having lived a long life of 80 years, and was buried in Williamston, South Carolina.
