HUNTINGTON - Irene Marshall, age 91, passed away March 28, 2011. Irene was born January 1, 1920, in Black Hills, Colorado, to James William and Stella Cora Ethal Sefton Weston. She married Auther Cecil Burnside in 1940. Auther passed away in 1949. She then married Loren James Marshall in 1951, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Loren passed away on August 29, 1973.

Irene was raised in both Colorado and Utah. She attended and graduated from North Emery High School. She learned the value of hard work by working on her family farm. She passed this trait of hard work on to her children and grandchildren. Irene was an active member of the LDS Church. She served in many capacities including as a librarian, in the Primary, Relief Society, and she especially enjoyed visiting teaching...

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Auther and Loren; one son, Robert Burnside; three grandchildren: Lisa Burnside, Dennis Burnside, and Jeremy Marshall; and thirteen brothers and sisters: Gene, Bud, Buster William, Cleve, Lorene, Ruth, Rowena, Ila, Marvin, George, Henry, Dalton, and Leona.
