Irene (Weston) Featherston was born in Victoria, Australia

Irene Grace Weston was born on June 12, 1924 in Colac, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Charles Weston (1896 - 1983) and Catherine (Close) Weston (1897 - 1981).^[1]. She was known as Rene.

Her brother was Ronald Charles Weston (1922 - 2017).

Rene married Edward Reuben Launer (1918 - 1983) in 1949 in Victoria.^[2]

Together they had four children.

Rene was widowed for the first time in August 1983.

Rene then married David Lance Featherston (1919 - 2005) on May 23, 1987 in Colac.^[3]

Rene was widowed again in November 2005.

Rene died on July 5, 2019 at Colac aged 95. She is buried in Colac Lawn Cemetery.^[4]
