  • Alfred James Wetmore was born in April 1869, the son of Nathaniel[1] and Mary Eliza Anderton Wetmore of Liverpool (also see other references)
  • Alfred was brother to:

    • Mary Wetmore Freeman, born July 3, 1856[4][5]
    • Alice T Wetmore Campbell, born circa 1861[6][7]
    • Ellen Sitgrave Wetmore, born circa 1863[8];
    • David Saunders Wetmore, born circa 1869 [9];
    • Caroline (Carrie) Magdalena Wetmore McCall, born circa 1873[10] [11]
  • On January 25, 1905, Alfred married Elizabeth McIntosh, daughter of Captain Donald and Bessie Pride McIntosh of Liverpool[12], and had children including
  1. Victor, born January 1909 [13]
