There are two different George Washington Whaleys born Indiana, 1875 who could be confused. I don't have documentation for the birthplace of either, but this one, born 25 Sep, lived in Morgan County and was likely born there. The other G.W. was born 21 Jul and lived in Pike County, roughly 100 miles (160 km) southwest of Morgan County.
