Bertha was born in 1890, either in Georgia or Alabama to Rev Luther Phillip Whaley and Mary Elizabeth Allred. She married Tom Crawford Thomason. When she passed away, she was buried in the Oak City Cemetery, Bainbridge, Georgia, next to her husband.[1]
