Mary Wheat was born 17 Apr 1835, in Adair County, Kentucky. Mary was the daughter of Samuel Wheat and Anna Rippitoe. Mary married 1st Anderson Hayes Coffey (1829–1865), about 1851. She second married Fielding Coffey (1814–1888) 9 March 1865, Russell Co. KY at Clerks office after the death of her first husband; surety: Logan Coffey. Mary Coffey passed away 29 Jun 1891 in Jamestown, Russell County, Kentucky.
