Biography
Rufus Wheaton was born circa 1854 at Steuben County, New York, USA. He appeared on the census of 20 June 1855 in the household of his parents, Henry B. Wheaton and Eunice (Stewart) Wheaton, at Woodhull, Steuben County, New York.[1] He appeared on the census of 19 July 1860 in the household of his parents at Erin, Chemung County, New York.[2] He appeared on the census of 6 Aug. 1870 in the household of his father at Horseheads, Chemung County, New York.[3]
