Adeline Wheeler was born on 5 March 1815 in Fort Edward, Washington, New York, United States to Lewis J. Wheeler (1802-1887) and Mary Robinson (1791-1852).

  12. Helen M. Wheeler was born on 4 October 1837 in Yorkshire, Cattaraugus, New York, United States. She married Roswell Spalding (1827-1920) in about 1858 as his second wife. Helen died sometime after the 8 January 1920 United States Federal Census when she was living with her nephew Fred.

  2. George W. Johnson was born on 11 June 1841 in Little Valley, Cattaraugus, New York, United States. He died on 2 July 1862 in Allegany, Cattaraugus, New York, United States of a fever while on a furlough from the military during the Civil War.
  3. William R. Johnson was born on 9 August 1843 in Little Valley, Cattaraugus, New York, United States. He married Isabel Unknown in 1873. William died in 1905.
  4. Henry L. Johnson was born on 20 August 1846 in Little Valley, Cattaraugus, New York, United States. He died on 21 May 1865 in Campbell Hospital, Washington, D.C., United States due to typhoid fever which he contracted while serving in the Civil War.[1]

Death

The last record found for Adeline was on 4 June 1880 in the United States Federal Census when she is found living with her daughter Mary who is married to Francis Townsend, in Carrollton, Cattaraugus, New York. She was a widow and 65 years old.
