  • James Blackman, the son of Adam, married as his second wife Miriam Wheeler, dau. of Moses, b. 28 Mar 1647. She married 2nd Edward Groom, by whom she had a daughter Mary.
  • Will of Miriam Groom of "Oronoge" dated 4 Oct 1693, at Milford. Legatees: Eldest son Zachariah Blackman; sons Adam and James Blackman; Miriam wife of Joseph Northrop; Mary Groom; Martha Blackman; dau. Jane. Inventories at Stratford and Milford 6 Nov 1693.
