  • 1 Aug 1779 – Onslow County, NC – William Wallace to John Lewis, for £500, a 108 1/2-acre tract of land on Crane Pond, being part of a 317-acre tract granted to Jacob Wiley on 10 Dec 1762, who sold it to Robin Melton, who sold it to Samuel Webb, who sold it to Jesse Webb, who sold it to the said William Wallace.
