Biography

Birth

Albert L. Wheeler was born 18 Jan 1850 to Ebenezer Wheeler and Lucinda (Morgan) Wheeler, in Preston, Connecticut. ^[1][2][3]

Marriage

Albert married Carrie Emma (Story) Wheeler 01 May 1883, in Norwich, Connecticut.^[4]

Note: in "History of The Wheeler Family in America", the author has Carrie's middle name as "Louise". There is no other documentation to back this up.^[3]

Lottie Belle Wheeler; b. 12 Mar 1890^[5]

Profession

By Albert's twentieth birthday he was working on his father's farm, (his father died in 1865).^[6] In 1880, he was still living with his mother and a sister and her children and still working the farm.^[7] By 1990, Albert and the family had moved from Preston to Norwich, Connecticut and he had become a Grocer.^[8] By 1910, Albert had become a Retail Dealer in the Grocery Industry.^[9]

Death

Albert died 05 Apr 1913, and is buried in Brewster's Neck Cemetery, located in Preston, Connecticut.^[10]
