Biography

Anna Wheeler was born at Concord, Massachusetts on September 26, 1713, daughter of Timothy and Lydia (Wheeler) Wheeler. [1]

She married John Bateman at Concord on Feb. 10, 1731/2. John was born at Concord on October 18, 1706, son of John and Elizabeth (unk) Bateman. [1] [2] [3]

John died on November 17, 1752. [1] [2]

In his will, written at Concord, Massachusetts on April 7, 1752 he names;

  • beloved wife Anna, sole executor
  • sons two Jonas and John, when they come of age
  • my daughters Mary, Submit, Lydia, Rebecca and Hepzibah Bateman, when they come of age
  • my daughter Elizabeth Brown [4]

Anna (Wheeler) Bateman married second, Richard Wheeler of Bedford as his third wife. [5] on November 14, 1760. [6]

Widow Anna Wheeler died at Bedford on March 14, 1804 at the age of 91. [7]
