Clark was born in 1903. He was the son of George Wheeler and Annie Montgomery. He passed away in 1974.[1]


OBIT:

Clark D. Wheeler, 71, native Ellensburg resident, died Monday at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. He was born February 3, 1903 in the Olmstead cabin east of Ellensburg. He parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. George Wheeler. They were of the first four or five families settling in the Kittitas Valley.

He was married to Annie E. Hughes on January 15, 1923 at Ellensburg. They had their home at 301 Railroad Avenue. Wheeler was employed by Boise Cascade Lumber Company for 30 years prior to retiring in 1965. He was a member of the Eagles, and the Lumber and Sawmill Workers Union.

Survivors include his wife, Annie, at the home; two sons, George of Ellensburg and Clark Jr. of Thorp; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Jones and Mrs. Marie Fields, both of Ellensburg, and Mrs. Buddie Elaine Rosser of Tucson, Ariz.; 21 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
