Biography

Mary Wheeler was born in 1750 in Calvert County MD, the daughter of Roger Wheeler and Suzanna Weems. [1] Mary Wheeler died in Calvert County MD in 1799.

Marriage

Mary Wheeler married three times.

She married first Thomas Holdsworth Heighe, about 1766. [2] [3]

She married second before 1776 John Thomas Bond. [4] [5]

She married third Major John Brooke in June 1786. [6]


Children

Thomas Holdsworth Heighe and Mary Wheeler had one daughter, Elizabeth (Betty} Holdsworth Heighe, born in 1768. She married Dr. James Heighe Blake, the third mayor of Washington DC. [7]

Betty Heighe Blake died in Washington DC in 1845, the mother of five children with Dr. Blake. [8]

John Thomas Bond and Mary Wheeler had three children:
