In 1881 George was 18 years old and working as a confectioner [3]
George married Sarah Ann Hewitt at St Oswald, Collyhurst, Lancashire on 24 March 1888 when he was 24 years old.[4]
George passed away in January 1920 in Manchester, Lancashire, England, when he was 54 years old.[5]
