Verna, daughter of Stephen Wheeler and Belle Potter,[1] was born in Michigan about 1903.[2] Their family lived in Detroit, Michigan where, in 1910, her father was working as a motorman with the street railway.[2] In 1920, her father was working as a patrolman.[3][4][5]
In 1940, their family was living in Detroit where George worked as a receiving and ship clerk for an air craft co.: they were living next to the household of sister, Vera Hazel (Wheeler) Faraday and her family and their mother, Isabelle and uncle, Andrew were living next to them on the other side.[6]
She passed away about 1973 and was buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.
