Stephen was the son of Jonathan and Ann (Plumer/Plummer) Wheeler
He married Hannah Heath, daughter of Joseph and Hannah (Bradley) Heath, on 12 Nov 1741 at Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts - parents of Dolly, Stephen, Silas, Warren, Abner, Richard and David Wheeler (all of the children were born at Salem, Rockingham, New Hampshire)
He is buried at Salem Center Burying Ground, Salem, Rockingham, New Hampshire, USA
