Biography

He came to Dubbo when about 14 years of age with his late mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. A. Margson, his father having died at Molong. Mr. Joesph Wheeler, of Bultge-street, in a full brother of deceased.

He was survived by his widow, four sons, and three daughters. The sons are Alderman George A. Wheeler (Mayor of Dubbo), and Messrs. Henry, Arthur and Alfred, all resident of Dubbo. The daughters are Mesdames Joseph Murray and Bremner (New Zealand) and Hinch (Dubbo).^[1]
