Biography

Abner was born 16 November 1735 in Leominster, Massachusetts. He was the son of Joseph and Abigail (Unknown) Wheelock.

Abner married Mary Brown 12 April 1758 in Lunenburg, Massachusetts.[1] Abner and Mary had the following known children, all born in Leominster:

  1. Jonathan b 3 Mar 1759, m Hannay Corey
  2. Martha , b 2 Oct 1760, possibly married Benjamin Chamberlin
  3. Mary, b 7 Sep 1762
  4. Abner , b 6 Jan 1765 m Hannah Stowell
  5. Unity b 19 Apr 1767
  6. Amy d. 25 Apr 1790 (Amy may actually be Unity. Information on the death is from a transcription and original record could not be reviewed).
  7. Betsey b abt 1776 d. 30 May 1790
