Biography

Edward was born in 1843. He was the son of Richard Whelan and his wife Brigid.

He married Alice Kerwin about 1878.

He passed away in 1905.[1][2]

Immigration ~1852

His sister Ellen's story tells that her siblings came to the US after the Irish Famine was over.[3] Additionally, the Richard Whelan history has a ship list for 1852 that seems to match the family.[4]
