James Thomas Whicker was born in Adams, Indiana on January 7, 1868 to parents John Henry Whicker and Phebe Ann Shelton. He married Mary C. Mills on January 15, 1891 in Morgan County. James passed away at the age of 26 on August 23, 1894 in and is buried at Crown Center Cemetery in Morgan County.[1][2][3]
His son Chancy Whicker died in 1982 at the age of 90.[4]
