Biography
Betsy was born in 1849. She was the daughter of Thomas Whimpress and Mary Pryor.
She married David GOODES in 1867. [1].
She passed away in 1905. [2]
- Death Notice - 29 Dec 1905 - TOWITTA December 27.
The sudden death of Mrs. D. Goodes which occurred early on Christmas morning threw quite a gloom over our Christmas festivities. The deceased lady was widely known and highly esteemed, and on Tuesday a very large number of people paid the last sad honors at the grave.[3]

GOODE.— On the 25th December, at Towitta, Betsey Goode, the ever faithful and loving wife of David Goode, aged 56 years. Much respected and deeply mourned, since Jesus, her Saviour, called her home. A Methodist from her cradle.[4]
