Jennette was born and raised in Minnesota. She was a music instructor just like her mother Emma. At some point she moved to Los Angeles California, as she and her husband were married there in 1919. Her husband Charles Nelson Aselin I served in WWI with the Twenty-second Company, Coast Artillery Corps. Jennette and her husband had their son in October of 1920. Sadly, Jennette died young at only 21 years of age. It was suspected that she was poisoned from eating some "bad olives". She left a young husband and infant son. Her husband would eventually remarry multiple times and her young son, Charles Nelson Aselin II, was left to be raised by his grandparents George and Katie Morehouse Martin Aselin in Los Angeles.
Jennette is the spelling used on her grave marker and is assumed to be correct**
