Biography
Merle Virgil Whipple was born on 29 Dec 1925 in Cutcheon, Missaukee County, Michigan, the son onf Earl Guy Whipple and Edna Della Shackelton.
On 30 Nov 1946, Merle V Whipple married Hazel M Wimmer. She was the daughter of Frank Wimmer and Cleo Riley. They both were 20 years old. They had children.
Merle Whipple serviced in the US Navy during WWII, enlisting on 16 Dec 1943 and being released from his service on 31 Jan 1948. He also served in the Air Force from 7 Sep 1961 to 31 Jul 1965,
