I agree that this is the same person as in Whipple-909, but your bio says that his first wife, Jemima, didn't die until 1727. Considering that he married again in about 1688, she would have most likely died before that. His 2nd wife would have died before he married his 3rd wife also.

Whipple-648 and Whipple-909 are not ready to be merged because: I'm not entirely convinced they are the same person. The bio for 648 includes marriage data, presumably from a GEDCOM but includes no sources. Further investigation should confirm the match.

Trust me. They are the same person. Whipple-648 is officially tied only to the second and third wives, though all three are mentioned in the narrative biography. Whipple-909 is very light on sourcing. It mentions only the first and third wives. Whipple-648 is much more complete. The only information in it that is absent from Whipple-909 is the explicit link to Jemima Lane.

Hi Andrew.

I found this website that apparently refers to them: http://www.whipplephoto.com/Genealogy/familygroup.php?familyID=F22389&tree=tree1 It indicates they were born in the 1600s. Would you please change the privacy level to ‘open’ for each of them, and add this as a source. Thanks!

The only information on the profile for Matthew Whipple-909 is his marriage to Jemima Lane-2981, and the only information on her profile is the marriage to him. Do you have any additional information for either of them, dates or locations of birth, death or marriage to help identify who these people are?
