David Whisman was born about 1817 in Wythe County, Virginia.[1]
David married Nancy Holcombe in 1842 Harlan, Kentucky.[2]David sold is farm in Virginia in early 1850 and moved to Carter County, Kentucky with wife Nancy and 6 children.
