Johann Phillip Whisman was listed as passenger arrival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 26 Sep 1737 on the St Andrew Galley from Rotterdama, Holland.[2][3] There were 449 passengers with names of German, Swiss & Other Immigrants. The Ship Master was John Stedman.[4]
Johann Phillipp Wisman listed Philadelphia Courthouse p 183, 26 Sep 1737 when he signed oath swearing to uphold the new government.[5]
Listed as adjoining property owner Dunmore Co Virginia 1764-1765, land ownership records of Frederick Woolford.[6]

Surveyed by leave of his Lordship for Phillip Weesman of Augusta County two hundred and forty acres of land lying in the said county including where he lives on a branch of McNishes run (now Pughs run).
He made a Will in Dunmore Co., Virginia (presently Shenandoah County, Virginia) on 3 January 1778.[7]

Oldest daughter, Mary’s two children, and she is deceased. Children are Adam Darting and Catherine Darting, her share.
