Biography

Robert was born about 1926. He is the son of James Whitaker and Vera Atkinson. In 1930, the family was living in Daytona Beach, Volusia, Florida.^[1] They were still there in 1940^[2] and 1945^[3]

He married Ava Lou Taylor in 1946 in Daytona Beach, Volusia County, Florida. The witnesses were Mrs Anna H Tharp and Lewis A Coleman, Jr.^[4]

In the 1950 census Robert (age 24) was the married head of household in Daytona Beach, Volusia, Florida, United States.^[5]

When Robert passed away in 1999^[6], he was buried in the Arlington Park Cemetery in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.^[7]
