Was Sarah a daughter of John and Elizabeth Whitacre - born Watertown 12 June 1666 -who were in Chelmsford before 1691?
Westford Death Records (the west precinct of Chelmsford was set off in 1729 and constituted a distinct township named Westford) indicate Sarah Proctor died at 83 years and 8 months. Her birth date would be close to May 1668.
"WHITTAWS, Sarah, and Gershom Procter, July 4, 1690."
".. and we have set off to the widdow of the deceased about 28 acres of land meddows..and it is bounded on the east and west and north with the fence.. togather also with three acres of woodland at Rail tree hill .."
"PROCOTTER (see also Proctor), Sarah wid. Gershom, Jan. 26, 1752, a. 83 y. 8 m."
