Biography
His memorial in Connecticut is NOT where he is buried. He died in 1910 on his ranch in Orsini, California, he was buried there under a Fig tree in an unmarked grave. In 1938 through efforts of his niece Lillian Jenson Page his remains were located and buried on land (320 acres) he donated to the University of California (Berkley)less than 2 months before he died. He's grave is marked by a heavy sequoia slab.
