Biography
Buck Whitaker is a part of US Black heritage.
Buck Whitaker, son of Wilson Whitaker and Janette Pittman, was born in 1889.[1] He died in 1960.[2]
In 1940, Buck was living in Enfield Township, Halifax, North Carolina.[3]
He passed away in 1960.[4]
Research Notes
His death certificate and his Social Security Claims Index record have two different birth dates. One is 04 Dec 1890, and the other is 19 Dec 1889.
There is also a US Veterans Administration Master Index record for Buck Whitaker, who died on 10 Feb 1960. His birthday is 10 Dec 1888.[5]
To further muddy things, his daughter Dora married a man also named Lucious Whitaker.[6]
