Biography
Anjou (1906) identifies her as a daughter of Edward Whitaker and Hilletje Burhans (v. 2 p. 135n). Thus:
- Kingston baptism for Helena June 20 1708, #1718 in Hoes, lists parents as Edwert Witteker and Hilletje Borhans. Witnesses were Johannes and Elizabet Borhans [siblings; maternal uncle and aunt]. See Edwert.
Named Elinor in father’s will.
Ellener was married 1738 July 1st by Domine Mancius to Laurenz Osterhout [1]. Their children are Jan [2], Edwaard [3], Annaatjen [4], and Petrus [5].
