The question of the purported marriage of Jonathan Whitcomb and Mary Blood has been discussed at length on other genealogy boards and the consensus, from what I see, is there is no proof of that marriage. For a good discussion see the following: https://www.ancestry.com/boards/surnames.whitcomb/395.2/mb.ashx
I will not remove the connection but I think it should be removed until some proof is available. Williams-27459 12:49, 10 November 2017 (EST)

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jonathan by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Jonathan:
I found the birth record for Jonathan. It is in Littleton, not Lancaster

Note: Littleton was settled in 1686 and established as a city in 1715
NOTE: I found the "Lanchaster, Middlesex" record. (Middlesex, NOT Worcester)

There are a few issues with this profile that bear further research. Some of the children are born within 8 months of each other. The supposed marriage with Mary Blood is questionable.
