Biography

Reuben was born in 10 April 1820 in Washington, Vermont on his parent's Reuben and Dinah Howe Whitcomb's farm. He married in Johnson, Vermont, Esther Mann. The Town records of Johnson, Vermont stated Reuben passed away in 1897 and was buried on his farm on Whitcomb Island Road in Johnson, Vermont. Reuben and Ester had three children: Charles, b. 8 October 1847, d. 3 September 1918, m. Ella Boyce; Lenora, b. 1848, d. 1915, m. Lucius Boyce; and Frank , b. 1852, m. Phelura Whitcomb.
