His inventory was taken on 2 July 1745, and presented by his widow, Joanna, and she gave oath to the inventory.[3]
In 1750, his widow presented an account of his estate.[4]
In 1760, his real estate could not be divided without prejudice, so by law, the eldest son, Joshua Whitcomb took possession and greed to pay the other children their share, viz., Elizabeth Powers, Joanna Hatch, Moses Whitcomb, and Olive Whitcomb.[5]
