The records of Scituate show the births of the following children to Robert:[1]
Content Whetcombe, b. 4 Aug 1695
Elizabeth Whetcombe, b. 13 Feb 170[4]
Melea Chetcombe, b. 89 May 1699
Robert "Whetcomb" died at Scituate on 25 Dec 1704.[2]
Widow Elizabeth Whitcomb was granted the administration of the estate of Robert Whitcomb on 1 March 1705/6. His inventory was taken on 14 March 1704/05.[3]
Elizabeth gave an accounting of the estate on 13 June 1707.[4] That accounting mentions that she received 1/3 of the estate and that the rest went to her three children, being daughters. Their ages were given at the time of the death of Robert, and they are specifically noted as the children Elizabeth had with Robert:
Content, about 9 years
Melia, 5 years
Elizabeth, 3/4 years
NOTE: There are TWO accountings in this probate file, but one of them refers to children who are clearly children of Robert Sr. so, although it is included in the probate file, I have note included it here. Please see the profile for Robert Sr.Watt-266 14:01, 2 July 2016 (EDT)
