Biography

Calvin was born 16 Jul 1851 in Franklin, Kentucky to John White (1823–1910) and Mrs. White.^[1] By about 1877, he had married America Jane "Jennie" Turley. He was a farmer. They had a family, including:^[2][3] By 1910, he was working for the tobacco industry. Their daughter Nancy was a teacher in 1900 and 1910.^[4]

In 1920, Calvin and Jennie were living with their daughter Mary.^[5] Calvin died on 25 Nov 1922 in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky.^[6] He was buried in the Grove Hill Cemetery, Shelby, Shelby, Kentucky with his wife.^[7]
