Born 1944 in northern Maine. Ancestors came to Maine via New Brunswick, Canada and (somewhat verified) from New York. Married into the Norsworthy family which also is in Maine via New Brunswick from Devon England in the early 19th century. Mother's family is also from New Brunswick and she is related to the DeMerchant clan - well documented!
Have done research for over 20 years mostly during the last 6 years since I retired from the Federal government. Use Family Tree maker, the internet and a local branch of the Federal Archives. Used to be a member of the Ancestry.com community but dropped it for a while due to health issues and $$$ issues as well.
Willing to help any/all with research, especially for New Brunswick, Canada and northern Maine connected families.
