Elizabeth White was born at Kennet, Chester Co. Pennsylvania about 1732 to William White and Elizabeth Harlan. She married first, John Hatton. There were two children from this marriage, Mary and Hannah. In 1762, she married Robert Mendenhall. Elizabeth died in 1789. [1]
John Hatton and Elizabeth White had two children.[2]
Mary, b. 1756
Hannah b. 1758
Robert Mendenhall and Elizabeth White Hatton had the following children[6]
ELIZABETH MENDENHALL was born on 07 Jul 1763 in Concord, Butler, Pennsylvania. She died on 01 Jun 1851 in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. She married William Huston on 08 Jan 1794 in Concord, Chester, Pennsylvania. He was born in Aug 1764 in Pennsylvania. He died on 02 Oct 1851 in Concordville, Concord Township, Delaware, Pennsylvania.
WILLIAM MENDENHALL was born on 17 Dec 1765 in Concord, Chester, Pennsylvania. He died on 02 Sep 1843 in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He married Cecelia Lewis on 10 Mar 1791 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. She was born on 03 Mar 1771 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. She died on 29 Nov 1839 in Concord Township, Delaware, Pennsylvania.
ADAM MENDENHALL was born on 29 Oct 1768 in Concord, Chester, Pennsylvania. He died on 23 Jan 1835 in Delaware, Delaware, Ohio. He married (1) ELIZA ALLEN on 25 Mar 1794 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was born in 1768 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. She died on 19 Oct 1798 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. PHEBE MENDENHALL was born on 07 Jul 1770 in Concord, Chester, Pennsylvania. She died on 19 Jan 1875 in Wilmington, New Castle, Delaware (Age: 105). She married Gideon Thomas on 17 May 1792 in Darby, Delaware, Pennsylvania. He was born on 28 Nov 1759 in Newton, Delaware, Pennsylvania. He died on 28 Nov 1823 in Newton, Delaware, Pennsylvania.
I question the birth date (1713) of Elizabeth White. Elizabeth married her first husband, John Hatton, in 1755, making her age, 42 at the birth of her first child with him. Her marriage to Robert Mendenhall in 1762 would then make her 49. Elizabeth's children with Robert Mendenhall were born from 1763 to 1772. She would have been 50 years old in 1763 and 59 in 1772. It is nearly impossible in those times for her to have borne 7 children after the age of 42. [3]. I believe the birthdate of 1713 is actually the date of birth of Elizabeth HARLAN,[4] and that Elizabeth WHITE-18826, daughter of Elizabeth Harlan and William White, was born around 1735.
White-18826 parents, children and birthdate appear to be accurate. These profile should be merged and the birthdate of White 18826 accepted as the correct birthdate, regardless of the information posted atMendenhall Person: I25746
Elizabeth Harlan and William White Sr. did not marry until 1728, so their daughter, Elizabeth, could not have been born in 1713.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
White-20798 and White-18826 appear to represent the same person because: No parents are listed for White-20798. The Harlan history cites Elizabeth Harlan b. 1713 and William White as parents of Elizabeth White, b. 1735. I question the birth date (1713) of Elizabeth White 20798. Elizabeth married her first husband, John Hatton, in 1755, making her age, 42 at the birth of her first child with him. Her marriage to Robert Mendenhall in 1762 would then make her 49.
