Born in Michigan 9/7/1882; died Eaton Rapids, MI on 10/22/1968 [Findagrave and SS records] 2. married to Mildred Gale in Essex, Ontario, Canada on 10/30/1905; parents listed as John White and Anna Caulfield; he is 25 and living in Washington, DC; Mildred is 22 and living in Eaton Rapids, MI. 3. Mildred born in Eaton Rapids in 1883; died Eaton Rapids 3/15/1958. 4. Mildred's parents are in the same cemetery [Rosehill]; I connected them on Findagrave 5. 1910 census: Howard and Mildred living at 1814 N. Capital St. 6. 1920 census: Howard and Mildred living at 1151 N. Capital St.; he is file clerk at Treasury Dept. 7. 1930 census: Howard alone at rooming house on 16th St.; still married 8. 1940 census: Howard and Mildred at Ambassador Apts. on 16th St. NW; he is a clerk for IRS; same address in 1935 9. Howard says in various census records that his father was born in English Canada; this conflicts with his brother's Leonard's records, but is probably correct [Howard was older]; mother born in New York.
