The 1920 U.S. Census has Emma at 32 years of age with her husband and seven children living on the family farm in Meridian Township, Lauderdale County, Mississippi. On the census form, Brady is entered as Grady and on the indexing, the youngest son John is listed as John D. Sam. Living on a nearby farm are Emma's parents William and Almeda White. [2]
The 1930 U.S. Census lists Emma with her husband John and eight children living on the family farm in Beat 1, Lauderdale County, Mississippi.[3]
Emma passed away October 24, 1936 and was buried at Mount Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Obadiah, Lauderdale County, Mississippi.[4]
