Peter son of Andrew White & Amy Palmer had moved to Danby, Vermont with his father at age of 17 years. By 1796 Peter was in Peru, Clinton Co., NY. He served in War of 1812 where he was a Private in Captain Henry W. Snider's Company of Colonel David Roger's Regiment, New York State Militia.
Where Peter lived between 1814 and 1830 is not known. He came to Ohio with sons Richard, Abial & Elihu to Marion County which later became Morrow County. He may have came with other related families of Wood and Allen.
