DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
According to his will " Item: I will that my daughters, Viz. Elizabeth Thornbury, Hannah Walker, Mary Carney, Alice Gosset & Sarah Walker, be paid all the remainder of said estate (after their brothers above mentioned being paid off as above directed) & to be divided in such a manner that Elizabeth Thornbrough and Hannah Walker receive sixteen dollars more than their other sisters, who have already received part of their quota heretofore. So what proof is there that Tabitha was his daughter?
