"William White had a land grant in now Vermillion Parish, near his father John and lived there until his death on Oct 8, 1821. His Succession (a Louisiana heirship proceeding) was not filed until Sept 1824 when I assume the widow Amy and children wished to emigrate to Texas. All their heirs are listed. We also have all the birth dates of the children from the Bible of William mentioned above." [1]
