William White had a grant to land in Lancaster County, which he sold in 1749. He then moved to the Waxhaws, South Carolina (later Lancaster County, South Carolina) and died there about 1800. He married Sarah Ramsey. Issue:
Jean, married Major Robert Crawford of Revolutionary fame.
Isabella, married Andrew Foster.
Hugh, married Mary, the daughter of Joseph White.
Margaret, married Charles (or his brother Jesse?) Miller, and they were the parents of Governor Stephen Decatur Miller.
Christiana, married James Crawford, Jr., a first cousin of Andrew Jackson, who persuaded them to move to Tennessee, where they left a large family.
Moses, married Jane Miller.
John, married first Nancy Ann Foster, second Margaret Harper.
???daughter married Captain John McClure killed at Hanging Rock, 178076???

Research Notes
Ramsey's History of South Carolina says his wife Sarah died in 1806 at the age of ninety, but her grandson, Governor Stephen Decatur Miller, who was born in 1788, says that she lived until he was about ten years of age (~1798).
