  • Ada Mae White was born February 24, 1896, the daughter of Frederick and Lillian Hurlburt White of Cannan, Yarmouth County[1]
  • On October 13, 1915, she married Bernard John Trefry, born September 29, 1889, the son of Caleb and Maria Hamilton Trefry of Tusket, Yarmouth County[2], and had children, including:
  1. Verna Ada Trefry Born: 20 May 1916 at: Springhaven, N.S. Spouses: Leonard R. Baker
  2. Ruth Hazel Trefry Born: 7 Mar 1918, who married Allan Benson Balkam at Springhaven, in 1939[3]
  3. Pauline Esther Trefry born circa 1920, who married Clifford Allen Tinkham in 1940[4]
  4. Olive Muriel Trefry, born July 28, 1923, who married Raymond Everett Dease, and died February 12, 2012[5]
  5. Kathryn May Trefry, who married Earl Smith, and Albert Fuller, and had a son named Larry Bernard Fuller[6]
  6. Malcolm Bernard Trefry who married: Anna M. Cunningham
