Early Life
David White was born, February 6, 1771, the son of David White and Margaret Gill of Albany, New York Colony.[1] His father was a Loyalist and they were picked up by the HMS Clinton at East River, New York on 14 Nov 1783 and delivered to Port Roseway, Nova Scotia on 13 Dec 1783. [2][3]
On 17 July 1808, he married Mary Hurlburt,[4] the daughter of Titus and Sarah Leonard Hurlburt of Tusket Forks, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia.[5][6]
The date of their, marriage and Mary's death death come from family sources, no clear sources are provided, so accuracy has not been confirmed, however the other information provided from the two example references provided is consistent with confirmed information for other family members[7][8]

Research Notes
Unclear if children get loyalist status but I have placed a sticker. Will need to research further. If David's parents married in 1776, then he was either younger than his reported birth date of 1771 on his death certificate or he is a child of Margaret's previous husband. His father also could have been previously married. They also could have had children before marriage.
