William White, Jr., son of William White, born in Hadley, Massachusetts, October 4, 1732; lived in Hinsdale, New Hampshire, in Northfield and Springfield, Massachusetts and died in Hadley, December (30th ?), 1810, age 78.
He married (1) Lydia Patterson, April 1, 1757, of Northfield, born in 1737 and daughter of Elizur Patterson and Lydia Moore.
Children with Lydia:
1) Giles White b 1752 in Hadley, Massachusetts, married his cousin, Sarah Dodd, daughter of Ebenezer and Mary (White) Dodd, of Guilford, Connecticut. They were living in Guilford in April 1786, but removed to Halifax, Vermont in 1790, and thence to Cobleskill, Schoharie County, New York in September 15, 1797.
Giles White served in the Revolutionary War as a Private in Captain Moses Kellogg's Company, Colonel Porter's (Hampshire Company) Regiment. He marched on September 23, 1777 until he was discharged on October 18, 1777 for a period of service of 32 days including 6 days (114 miles) travel home. His Company marched to reinforce the Northern Army under Major General Gates on an alarm. (Recorded on page 72 of Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors).

William married (2) Martha Chapin Wells of Springfield, November 14, 1765. They lived in Hadley where he died December 30, 1810.
