Phyllis White was born in August 1932 at West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England. She was the daughter of Harry White and Eveline Westwood.[1]
Phyllis and her parents lived at Flat 2, 15 Holyhead Road, Birmingham until about 1956 when they moved to Flat 6 143 Popes Lane, Northfield. After her mother died in 1971, Phyllis and her father Harry lived in Appleton House, Ley Hill Farm Road, Northfield, part of the Ley Hill housing estate which was built in the 1950s and demolished in 2001.[2][3] In the 2000s Phyllis lived at Bridport House, Hillwood Road, Northfield.
Phyllis died in January 2017 age 84 at the Bescot Lodge Care Home in Walsall.
